Dr.
Kevin Good is certified in neurology by the American Board
of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He is also certified
by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and
the American Society of Neuroimaging. Dr. Good is former
co-director of MRI of Eastern Carolina, where his duties
included primary interpretation of MRIs of the brain and
spine.
Dr.
Good is a specialist in neuromuscular diseases and special
nerve and muscle testing such as electromyography (EMG),
nerve conduction studies (NCV), and electroencephalography
(EEG). He also specializes in the use of Botulinum toxin
A (BOTOX®) and has been treating individuals with
BOTOX® therapy, in all its uses, since 1990.
As
a neurologist, Dr. Kevin Good is highly trained to treat
disorders of the nervous system. This includes diseases
and disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles,
such as strokes, epilepsy (seizures), headaches, dementias
(Alzheimer's disease), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's
disease, and various forms of pain. Neurologists may serve
as consultants to other physicians as well as provide
long-term care to patients with chronic neurological disorders.
